The Site itself is a hosted web experience. Direct ChatGPT tool calls require a separate remote Apps SDK/MCP server and eligible Developer mode access. The included contracts make that adapter straightforward, but MCP is not required for the Site; account and workspace plan availability still applies.

How searches, filters, tabs, coverage, and Analysis work in PokemonCards v0.2.3.

Apply search and filters

Change the query, condition, or category, then select Apply. Pressing Enter in the text-search form performs the same action as Apply. Changing a filter alone does not start a request.

Category tabs

Category tabs change matching logic. Pokémon Cards separates raw/ungraded cards from graded cards and rejects lots, proxies, code cards, and incompatible variants. SSD, GPU, and Other use their own model and accessory rules when enabled.

Navigation tabs

Navigation tabs change the visible screen without changing the active item category: Dashboard runs searches, Analysis inspects one selected comparable, Session explains ephemeral state, and Sources documents integrations.

Search coverage

The server retrieves up to 400 current fixed-price listings. eBay reported total is informational; the estimate uses only the retrieved sample after category checks, deduplication, condition filtering, and outlier removal.

Analysis selection

No listing is selected silently. Select Analyze on any result row, or choose an item from the Analysis selector. Previous and Next move through the currently sorted included results.

Price meaning

Delivered price means item price plus listed shipping. The range and median are active asking-price evidence, not completed-sale valuation and not a guarantee of sale value.

Historical sales

The historical-sales feature is disabled. It will remain disabled unless eBay grants Marketplace Insights API access and express written consent for this item-specific valuation tool.

Privacy

The app retains no search or result history in an application database or browser key-value storage. Review the for the complete disclosure.

About PokemonCards v0.2.3

A stateless, auditable estimator for current eBay purchasable listings.

Purpose

PokemonCards compares current fixed-price eBay listings using category-aware deterministic matching and shows exactly which comparables were included or excluded.

Default category

By default, only Pokémon Cards is shown. Deployments can expose more Category tabs with APP_VISIBLE_CATEGORY_TABS=pokemon,ssd,gpu,other.

No database

Queries, photos, results, and selections remain in current page/process memory. The application does not use cookies, browser key-value storage, D1, R2, or another application database.

Evidence boundary

eBay Browse provides current purchasable listings. Results are active asking-price evidence, not completed-sale evidence. The UI separates eBay total, retrieved, included, and excluded counts.

Configuration

EBAY_SEARCH_SAMPLE_SIZE controls the requested sample up to the hard maximum of 400. APP_VISIBLE_CATEGORY_TABS controls which category profiles the server exposes.

Security model

Production eBay credentials and OAuth tokens remain server-side. They must be configured through deployment secrets and never embedded in browser assets.

Historical access gate

Completed-sale functionality is not present in this release. It stays disabled until eBay grants restricted API access and express written consent for the pricing-tool use case.

Privacy disclosure

PokemonCards does not persist queries or results, while the hosting platform and eBay may maintain operational, security, and API logs under their own policies.

What PokemonCards processes for the current request and what it deliberately does not retain.

No application database

Data the app processes

When you select Apply, the query, selected filters, and optional image are sent to the same-origin application server to complete that request. The server may send the necessary search input to eBay APIs.

No retained application history

PokemonCards does not use an application database and does not use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, D1, or R2 to retain searches, images, listings, or valuation results.

Session memory

The current response can remain in browser or server-process memory only for the active session. Refreshing or closing the page removes the browser result. OAuth application tokens are cached only in server-process memory until expiry or process restart.

Infrastructure logs

The hosting platform and eBay may maintain operational, security, and API logs under their own policies. PokemonCards does not control those third-party logs and does not claim that no infrastructure logging occurs.

Historical sales

The historical-sales feature is disabled and no Marketplace Insights data is requested. It will remain disabled until eBay grants the required restricted API access and express written consent for the pricing-tool use case.
